About This Product
Our Aluminum Venetian Blinds with L Shape slats feature angled, L-profile aluminum alloy slats designed for maximum light blocking and privacy. The L-shape curvature creates a more effective overlap between adjacent slats when closed, virtually eliminating light gaps for superior room darkening compared to standard flat or C-shape slats. Child safety device (chain tensioner) included
- Angled L-profile slats create superior overlap, virtually eliminating light gaps for maximum room darkening.
- Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, fade-proof construction ideal for high-moisture and high-traffic environments.
- Pull cord/ball chain lift with wand tilt for 180-degree slat adjustment; wide RAL color options.

FAQ
Both have similar core requirements (cord loop ≤220mm, securing devices, tension devices), but key differences: 1) Canada explicitly requires tension devices to withstand at least 35N force, while US standard does not specify a numerical value; 2) Canada limits single cord accessible length to 300mm, while US standard focuses on loop cords; 3) Canada requires safety warning labels in both English and French, while US only requires English. It is recommended to design products meeting both simultaneously to cover the entire North American market.
It is recommended to use Canada SOR/2017-117 as the design baseline, as it is the strictest cord safety regulation worldwide — explicitly requiring tension devices to withstand at least 35N force and limiting single cord accessible length to 300mm, requirements that exceed other markets. Products designed to Canadian standards automatically meet EU, US, UK, and Australian requirements, achieving "one design, global compliance."
"Blackout" generally refers to maximum light blocking (industry reference standards such as AATCC TM203 require 0.00% light transmittance to qualify as true blackout), while "room darkening" means significantly reducing light but not necessarily complete blocking. Different suppliers may define these terms differently. When sourcing, always request measured light-blocking rate data rather than relying on marketing labels alone.
No. The hidden hole (no-hole) design eliminates visible lift cord holes on the slat surface, minimizing light leakage through cord holes. However, small gaps between slats may still exist when the blinds are closed. Hidden hole design significantly improves privacy and light blocking performance, but it does not mean zero light leakage. For applications requiring complete darkness, additional measures such as blackout liners or side channels may be needed.
Coated blackout achieves light blocking by applying an acrylic or PVC foam layer on the back, with lower cost and a stiffer hand feel; long-term storage requires attention to coating adhesion. Woven blackout (black yarn) incorporates black polyester yarn during weaving, absorbing light through the yarn itself, with a softer hand feel, better breathability, and higher cost. Laminated blackout uses a TPU film bonded to the fabric, with stable blackout performance and a moderate hand feel; composite fastness must be verified. Each process has suitable applications; selection should be based on product positioning and budget.
Our standard trade term is FOB Shanghai. Payment terms are typically 30% deposit by T/T after order confirmation, with the 70% balance due before shipment. We accept T/T bank transfer. For large orders, irrevocable L/C at sight can be discussed. Other trade terms (CIF, DDP) are available upon request.
